Highly Anticipated Anime Film ‘Sword Art Online the Movie -Progressive- Aria of a Starless Night’ Set to Release in Indian Theaters on April 14, 2023 by PVR Pictures
PVR Pictures, a prominent film distribution company, has announced that the release of the highly anticipated anime film, Sword Art Online the Movie -Progressive- Aria of a Starless Night, in Indian theaters will now take place on April 14, 2023. This release was postponed from its initial date of February 10, 2023.
The second installment of the Sword Art Online film series opened in Japan on October 22, 2022, after facing a delay, and immediately secured the top spot at the box office in its opening weekend. As of December 6, 2022, the film has garnered an impressive cumulative total of 1,076,475,134 yen, equivalent to approximately US$7.97 million.

The film boasts a talented cast, including the return of familiar characters, as well as the introduction of new ones. Notably, Kaede Hondo lends her voice to the character of Liten, while Yūsuke Kobayashi portrays Morte.

Yasuyuki Kai serves as the action director, and Yuki Kajiura returns to compose the music. The theme song “Shinzо̄” (Heart) is performed by Eir Aoi.

Yen Press is also publishing the Sword Art Online: Progressive novel series in English, along with two manga adaptations.
